Dan and Pinkie Pie Work Small Summer Jobs Part 1

(We see both the Dan Vs. and My Little Pony: Equestria Girls title cards on screen. It shows both Dan and Pinkie Pie going through their daily routines, with Dan being bored to death at the Casa Paradisio apartments while Pinkie finishes up a semester at Canterlot High, ready for the summer.)

Dan: There's nothing to do around here, Mr. Mumbles. Chris and Elise are away on their stupid anniversary, meaning I have no sidekick to do revenge schemes with.

Mr. Mumbles: *meows*

Pinkie: Woo-hoo! Another semester done, and I'm ready to PAAAAAAAAAAR-TAAAAAAAAAY!!!! Are you girls excited?

Rainbow Dash: Uh, Pinkie, I don't have time to have fun with you right now. I got soccer practice in a half-hour.

Applejack: And ah need to tend to mah farm an' help the animals.

Fluttershy: And speaking of animals, Angel Bunny's beginning to worry about me.

Rarity: And remember the last time you had FUN?!

(In a flashback, we see Pinkie dancing too much, to the point where she knocks into a punch bowl, splashing punch on Rarity's dress, and Rarity cries.)

Pinkie: Oopsy-whoopsy! It was just an accident! Really!

(Back at his apartment, Dan spots a TV ad for a resort where volunteers can work at for three weeks during the summer and make some money... and new friends, too.)

Dan: Hey, look, Mr. Mumbles! An opportunity to cure me of boredom for a few weeks... and to save up enough money for that new video game system I want.

(Meanwhile, Pinkie also spots the ad, and she want to save up enough money to buy a scooter she's wanted for a couple of months.)

Pinkie: Ooooooooohhhhhhh!!!!!!! I'm so nerviscited! And I do want some money for that cute, adorable scooter to take me and Gummy places!

Gummy: *blinks eyes*

(We then see Dan walking to the resort. Then we see Pinkie walking to the resort as well. Mr. Mumbles and Gummy follow their respective owners to the resort.)

Dan: Ah, look! Mr. Mumbles, this is the perfect place to relax... and get a job that Elise has always been bugging me to do for so long. (He spots Pinkie walking down from the opposite direction.) WHAT THE HEY?! I know that girl! It's the one who I had to save from that restaurant down in Arizona, Pinkie Pie! Who looks like a certain pony in human form.

Pinkie: Hey, Dan! Are you here about the jobs at the resort? Are you? Are you?

Dan: Gee, however did you figure that out, Pinkamena? (Pinkie almost starts crying due to what Dan calls her.) Fine, I mean, PINKIE... (Pinkie's face beams up.)

Pinkie: Because I saw an ad on TV!

Dan: No... way...

(The clip fades to black.)
